Paintings

Painting is my first love in the art world. The feel of a virgin paintbrush bristle, the feel of a wooden handle in a hand. Truly an art form that requires the physical presence of the viewer to really appreciate the textures and layers and time invested within. In mural form, the audience becomes a part of the art.

Murals

Paint on a wall

At a basic level, it’s just decoration- right? Maybe so. In a home, it can also be a feeling, an atmosphere, or an intention. In a business, it can be informative or convey a message. In a public space, it becomes all of those things together.

The most beautiful thing about public art, however, is the capacity to invite conversation and interaction.

Below you’ll find several projects that I have worked on over the years, some commissioned, some volunteer. If you are interested in more information on the process of installing a mural, please send me a message with your project details. I’d love to work with you!

Bee Night

Mural

Lansing ArtPath 7
Downtown Riverwalk, Lansing, MI

This mural is a portrait that speaks to the balance between people and their natural environment, the creatures that are our extended family. We must include these beings and places in our plans, in our thoughts, if we are all to grow together. Our survivals are intertwined and ultimately dependent upon each other.
